事例和作文是两个概念，但作文中可以写到一些事例。一般的记叙文中都是有事例的，议论文中也可以举出事例来作为证据。
比如记叙文作文《我的好朋友》，要写清楚为什么说这个人是我的好朋友，那肯定要举出一些事例来说明。
议论文《要珍惜时间》，为了证明观点，也可以举出一些名人的事例。

七、作文事例该怎么积累？

首先扔掉所有的素材书！素材书上的事例缺少个人的思考，缺乏亲和性，你记得再多也难以灵活运用。
就我个人经验来说，作文事例最好的积累方法，是在日常阅读与生活中积累。
把你语文课本翻出来，挨着阅读，如果读到某个事例，瞬间让你内心一动，哪怕微微一动，好，就是它了！三两句话把这个例子记下来即可。
平时逛知乎，刷朋友圈，看新闻，读杂志……某个例子，让你泪流满面，感动不已，三两句话记下来。
生活中，长辈的教诲，老师的训斥，名人的讲座，精英的访谈等等，有价值的例子比比皆是，三两句话记下来。

光记下例子还不够，最好还能在例子下面写几句评语，注入自己的思考。
日积月累，例子会累计很多，到你写作文需要用例子的时候，你便可以信手拈来，运用自如。

包公即包拯（公元999-1062年），字希仁，庐州合肥（今安徽合肥市）人，父亲包仪，曾任朝散大夫，死后追赠刑部侍郎。包公少年时便以孝而闻名，性直敦厚。在宋仁宗天圣五年，即公元1027年中了进士，当时28岁。先任大理寺评事，后来出任建昌（今江西永修）知县，因为父母年老不愿随他到他乡去，包公便马上辞去了官职，回家照顾父母。他的孝心受到了官吏们的叫口称颂。
几年后，父母相继辞世，包公这才重新踏入仕途。这也是在乡亲们的苦苦劝说下才去的。在封建社会，如果父母只有一个儿子，那么这个儿子不能扔下父母不管，只顾自己去外地做官。这是违背封建法律规定的。一般情况下，父母为了儿子的前程，都会跟随去的。或者儿子和本家族的其他人规劝。父母不愿意随儿子去做官的地方养老，这在封建时代是很少见的，因为这意味着儿子要遵守封建礼教的约束--辞去官职照料自己。历史书上并没有说明具体原因，可能是父母有病，无法承受路上的颠簸，包公这才辞去了官职。
不管情况如何，包公能主动地辞去官职，还是说明他并不是那种迷恋官场的人。对父母的孝敬也堪为当今一些素质底下的人的表率。以前的故事讲的最多的是包公的铁面无私，把包公孝敬父母的事情给忽视了。
